
PAC Beginners Course

The course runs for 4 weeks between the hours of
10am - 12 pm or 1pm - 3pm on Saturdays. -
The course costs £45

You will be loaned all the basic equipment you will need:

Recurve Bow (Left or right-handed)
-
Arrows
-
Finger tab
-
Arm guard

Our Beginner Courses are designed to teach participants the Safety Rules
and Etiquette of the Sport of Archery. You will be introduced to basic
equipment used in Archery, including different bow types and other
forms of Archery, as well as Target Archery.
Practically, you will be taught how to hit a target at various distances.
Our Club range has target distances up to 100 yards / 90 metres.
Target Archery, shooting rules will be explained and scoring systems used.
There will be an introduction to the different rounds shot in Target Archery. Advice on the selection of equipment will be given, for anyone who wishes to take up the sport. Upon completing the course, you will receive a certificate confirming you have completed a Beginner’s Course in Target Archery. You can use this certificate to apply for membership to any ArcheryGB club in the UK.
Clothing should be well-fitting tops – no loose sleeves, baggy jumpers, scarves, or anything else that could get caught in the Bow (including hair). No open shoes or flip-flops please wear sensible shoes.

Please note - Our policy on leaving children unattended during the lessons are as follows.
Children over 13 may be left, as long as the form has been completed and contact information has been provided
Children under 12 must be accompanied during the lesson.
